NY State Test includes passage on Bill Gates “stunning” donation
Yesterday’s New York State Global Studies Regents included a passage entitled “Bill Gates’ war on disease, poverty is an uphill battle.”
Students should know:
It is not the war of the brave doctors and nurses who work eradicating disease in developing nations…
It is not the war that the families in developing nations fight…
It is not the war fought by international and local volunteers or that of research scientists who tirelessly work….
It is Bill Gates’ war, and this article included on a NYS state exam, notes his “stunning” contribution. You can read the first test question here:
